I'm Gabrielle, a Melbourne based artist who drinks such quantities of coffee that it is a miracle her brush can move so steadily across the page.

Coming from a professional graphic design background, I shifted from the screen to the page in 2020 when I took up watercolour painting. I've been sketching since I was old enough to hold a jumbo crayon and now feel well and truly settled into the watercolour and ink medium. I would describe my artistic style as cosy and nostalgic. I like to take the ordinary and mundane and make it a little bit magical.

When I'm not painting, you'll find me haunting a cafe somewhere in the CBD listening to an audiobook and sketching on my crusty old iPad. I love photography, reading, gaming and spending way too much on art supplies.
